Easter Island and Ancient Aliens...

After watching the episode of Ancient Aliens series, where they were wondering about how people on Easter island were able to create their stone statues without trees etc to make structures for lifting them up or moving them - and already knowing about archeology studies about Easter island people using up their resources - I tumbled in to the Swedish document (The Planet, part 2) about ecology where they actually used Easter Island as an example where we are going to end up in the end with our mother earth if we are running blind as we have this far.
I started wondering... Is it really easier to hold on to a fantasy than looking the truth? I am not actually saying that there aren't aliens, I am pretty fond of the idea of having intelligent life in the universe (as it obviously isn't living with us in the earth ;))... But in this case, do people find themselves supporting the ancient aliens theory because so many of the old civilizations ended up destroying themselves and we don't want to think of it, because that would mean it CAN happen to us?

Forgot to write the story of Easter Island for those who don't want to watch the document(s)...
Easter Island was lush paradise island full of tropical trees when the islanders moved in... they lived and they prospered and decided to start to make the giant statues for the glory of their chiefs or gods. And cut down trees. All of them. Just to notice that they don't have anything to make houses from, or to give the animals and the other plants shelter to live in, or to keep the land more fertile, or to make canoes to get off the island... so they became cannibals, had tribal wars and ate each other till there were nothing left.

Actually after writing that I wonder how much of the African desert is there because of the pyramids...

Now the world we live in is more global and you can import the goods you don't have anymore in your own country, so the process is slower... but we are living on borrowed time, we spend more than the earth can produce. It has to be balanced, or... well, soon we will live from our own trash, since there is nothing to draw from.
Wonder what happened if the poor countries decided to only produce quality food for themselves and stop the cheap production for us or stop taking our crap in their countries (we are still exporting our waste to Africa, where it is piled up in the nature and nothing is done to it, because it is cheaper than the disposing/recycling it in our own countries)...
they could do that you know, there's way more of them. :p

I like to believe in happy endings, but in this case, well... safe is always better than sorry when it comes to ecology, so even if we had miracle rescuers coming from the space to give us the needed technology to save ourselves/planet (or coming to just to save the planet, like in the movie "the day when the earth stood still"), I'd kind of want people to consider how they consume.
You know... in the end, WE in the western countries are the root of the problem. Our need to consume creates it all, not the developing countries. They pollute more because we demand the cheap goods they are making there cheaper than our own countries and they produce it cheaper because the same regulations aren't in use around there.... It is slavery all over again, we are expecting them to fulfill our ever rising needs with low costs and fuck up their own ecosystem for us.... it could be different, but people need to change their minds about how they live. :) Actually... I DO believe in happy endings, it is literally in our hands to make this world still work for us and what is here with us... you know... "We are the ones we are waiting for"...

Oh and now that i remember it... I have wondered for a while how ecological is the vegetarianism in northern Europe? I mean... you have to import almost everything far far away, at least in winter, which is polluting a lot and needs fuel - or farm in greenhouses which is highly energy consuming... Would be nice to see some study about the overall ecological costs of food and other things (and more seasonal cooking stuff).

Yes, yes... One of the scientific days. I also watched document about Atlantis. You want to hear what i think? It is either highly exaggerated story and the island was lots smaller than Plato told in his story (which means it was Thera, now Santorini) OR it is in north Atlantic, not Bimini's. :p

Thought of the day

If you want out from this world and in to the "new" or "better" one RIGHT NOW, you haven't "mastered" the lessons of this world yet and don't know the most essential wisdom.

To explain bit more of it with thoughts that formed after... If you only think of getting out, you still have a path to walk as a lightworker, since to raise your vibration in the max (and the world's), you need to be comfortable with yourself in this world. This is why the indigenous teachings talk so much about balance and kindness and non-judgemental attitude towards ourselves and others and living like every step was a "prayer", walking your talk etc etc... Well, in MY point of view at least, I haven't contacted them for proof. :)

Anyway, every conscious action for greater good is a step in "lightworker" path as well as it is one in the path of a witch of the kind I am. :D How's that about sharing what i know? :D I know that the thought pissed me off a lot at first, since I have trouble living in THIS world at the moment. But... if you prefer this world and like living in it and are comfortable with your own skin, there are bigger changes on working for it to get better too. Something to think about.

Little bit of activism needed maybe?

I don't know what to write this time, but I am trying to express my worry as well as I can. Worry and sadness, confusion, even pain, since I feel that I am deeply rooted in this country, in the earth ground itself around here.

We live in a very special place, with relatively clean nature, with rare gems in the ground (check spektrolite ,to me it is like aurora borealis filtered in the ground ;)) and big areas or protected nature. However, it seems that things aren't quite so well in here after all. Why? Because we don't seem to understand how big thing it is to actually have clean nature without polluting big mines and factories all over the place.

I am reading a magazine, which focus on nature and the conservation issues in Finland and I am actually almost ready to puke here. I didn't know how bad the situation is at the moment, since we really don't have any activism against mining. Maybe because most of the mining captures are in the north and most of the environmental activists are in south and really, we don't always seem to remember the places outside our little nests.

However, lets start with the mine that exists already, Talvivaara. The thing that is only now starting to cause some conversation because of the smell of eggy farts starting to spread in the waters and area around there. Elevated levels of Sodium and Sulfates are seen even 110 kilometers from the mine, in many, many lakes and rivers and fishes are on the run from the area, tourism might be endangered (who wants to be smelling sulfur on the holiday or be wandering in not so pristine nature). In the nearest lakes the amount of Sodium is more than 1000mg/liter, which is 1000 times more than natural values, with sulfates the values are several tens of times above the limits. Now they are trying to get the permit to mine uranium, which would mean lot more chemicals in the process. Are we really going to sacrifice our nature to keep something like this going? I am at least happy to see that there is activism group against this place at least, in facebook.

Anyway, THAT is not the worst part. How many of us even KNOW that almost all our nature preservation areas are being test mined by foreign companies, for all sorts of minerals? That they are allowed to go to the protected areas with many endagered species and drill here and drill there and make a capture? That Finland is in mining companies talk "global exploration hot spot" because there isn't any remarkable action against mining industry? And that many companies have permission to mine very close to the borders of nature reserves? Why is it allowed to do the test diggings in nature preservation area? I can get it that ministry wants more industry in Finland, but really, nature preservation zones? Only pristine areas we still have... Most of the areas are of course Natura 2000 areas too, so they SHOULD be protected from stuff that brings environmental damage, but are they, really? The map of the captures etc (in finnish) makes me feel bad at least.

Canadian FQM Kevitsa Mining is trying to get permission to expand it's operation in Sodankylä's Kevitsa mine. The mine will be less than kilometer away from Koitelainen Preservation zone. Originally they also examined the option that the wastesand zone would have been directly ON the preserved bird lake. Company wants to get more liberties with the emissions demanding remissions on the environmental and production limiting permits. FQM has appealed to the Suppreme Court to get changes to the maximum emissions limits the environmental office has set to them. They want to build some of the safety/back up structures for the weaker to save with the expenses... The company is active in Africa where it is been prosecuted for evasion of payments and taxes and polluting air and waters. If they get liberties with pollution here, it will be flowing in Kemijoki.

How much exactly, we Finns, the nature lovers, the woods people, are ready to sacrifice for more jobs in the country? It wont bring much money, the product is sold by foreign companies, we just get the problems.

Also... Did you know that our so perfect forest "production" program with lots of "care" and effort only produces wood that isn't good enough quality to make furniture or even TOYS from? Maybe we should start to think a bit more what we do to our pristine nature...

In the end, it is US, that is in line. Everything that goes in the nature, goes to us at some point. And we are the weakest link.

(Don't even get me started with the nuclear...)

About the energy "magic" and healing

I kind of feel need to share some "rules" about energy "magic", since there has been some problems with people and the lack of respect for privacy. :p

Rule number 1 - the MOST important
***Don't ENTER people's energy field without permission.***

Meaning there is no pushing the energy through chakras or trying to search around or put ANYTHING in the energy field without permission...
Not only it can cause anxiety and uncomfortable feeling in the "subject", it also can cause it to you, since many of us have pretty strong defenses.

If you already have a strong connection with the person, this isn't such a big issue tho, especially if there is mutual respect and love and it is comfortable when the energies interlock.

And ofc there is one exception in this rule: if person is so ill that (s)he can't give the permission (goes to babies and animals too), in some cases it is possible to heal even inside the energy field with the permission of the closest people. BUT, it mostly goes only with the healing, not with asking "readings" on someone's behalf.

Surrounding people with positive energy/healing/earth energy/love or shielding them against harm is perfectly ok though. Since the energy field only uses what it needs/wants from that. :)

Rule number 2
***Doing harm will backfire***

If you consciously use energy magic to do harm or cause anxiety or to enter someone's private space for what ever reason that has nothing to do with their wellfare and without permission and knowing it, it WILL bite you back sooner or later.

However, at the point you don't know how it works, the "forces" are pretty forgiving with the possible penalties, if there are any and it is possible to use energy for self defense without consequences, I think. Although it is yet to be proved... Shouldn't over do it even then tho. :p

My thoughts about ascension and stuff, part 2

After calming my own endless mind chatter and the headache it sometimes cause ;), just wanted to say this (which actually does sound similar with some points of the text I linked in the blog post below):

The key to "raise your vibration", to feel better about yourself and the world and accept it as it is and accept people as they are, is not in thinking more about the perfect concept of how to make yourself perfect for life you have in mind. It is not about thinking as in trying to figure out the mysteries of the world and the absolute truth about it, getting too caught in that endless chatter of mind about what is right or wrong way of living at all.
It is about feeling it. Feeling more and doing what you feel is right. Belief systems aren't that important, you are free to have gods or not to have them, choose the thing that works.

So the key, for me, is: Feel it and do it. Enjoy. Create the life that looks like you, but don't forget that we are still all here, together. :)
Don't make your life hell with the endless search of... well... no-life. I know something about that, it wont give you the rewards you need to find to be more "in the flow" of life and happiness... Find your bliss. Listen to yourself.

(If it indeed is in endless search of new concepts, thoughts, visions and ideas, it is YOUR choice though, don't mind me. ;))

EDIT:
And - to avoid offending friends that do like the "star friends"/ have their spirituality built on the guides that are some way part of that scene - I am not against the idea of galactic beings and that they could be friendly, loving and only helpful to have around. :) I am against the tone of some of the post concerning the whole ascension phenomenon. The tone that suggest that there is nothing relevant in this life and you should only wait to get rid of it. Would it be more reasonable for a loving guide help you to live on this earth as long as you are here...

And yes, I know there is whole industry built around the whole spirituality/religion thing to mislead people, or more likely, to get them caught and take their generously offered money. Have you ever wondered, why there hardly ever isn't a one meeting around spiritual movements that doesn't ask money from getting together? Even in those meetings where materialism is critisized and no valid information is shared...

My thoughts about the ascension and stuff...

Oh lol... please... This is very cute and all, but really... Look around you, there are people never heard of these things that are way ahead of people reading these things, it is not about surrendering to no-life, it is about accepting that you live and embrace that, do your best with what you have NOW, that your past has taken you this far and that the future is limitless. Then you get in touch with the real you. Not commenting on the galactic beings, since I don't have an opinion yet, except that there are those. :) These writings make me so sad, since they make me feel that people are trying to - instead of oneness - separate themselves from the world into tiny groups. Forget it, you are perfect here and now, with every tiny "flaw" that makes you less "aligned" with the perfect non-feeling creature, or perfect one-thing feeling creature... there is MORE love and MORE joy when you allow it flow freely. It might hurt more, but the rewards are bigger as well and it actually doesn't change it a one bit how you "evolve" or sense the world... 

Sorry, just had to say it. I know the link below is a message of hope to some... but you know, there is even MORE hope in the world than that... I could say that this was a channeled message, but I am not going to say that, instead I say that this is a message straight from my heart, which - as some of you might say - is strongly connected to the earth. Maybe it makes me vibrate so low or slow that I just can't see the hope in these writings, but something else... There is lots of good in the message ofc, but being who you are includes who you are on this earth and you need to work on that too as long as you are here. I do agree on letting go of the past, but not letting go of the life.
Only thing to let go here is escaping the LIFE on earth as long as you are here, that is what frees you, IN here and elsewhere, before, now and after...

The "energy" has already raised well above this stuff, seems that the most people with most intensive pain are the ones still searching the perfect way to be less "alive"... Love you all.

Further thoughts... with being alive, I don't mean the "work till you are dead" and "suffer for the money" -lifestyle, but really finding your bliss and what you want to spend your life to and just... GO FOR IT. :) It might not work (altho it usually does, if you love enough what you do and continue to work for it), but if it doesn't, it always gives you confidence for the next step. I tend to think that things work out just fine sooner or later, with few compromises on the little things maybe, but not having to let go of your dreams. It might be just taking a long vacation or painting the picture you have had in your mind for ages... or leaving your job and taking another one, writing a book, having a part time job to get money for the trip to some country you have always wanted to see... endless possibilities. As long as you are here. Who cares what happens after, with good life and no regrets or bad conscience, it can't be too bad to move along to "new adventures" in the end.

You know... most of these posts about endless joy and ascension etc makes me think about my writings when I was in the deepest depths of my own depression, they make it sound more like something that isn't on the reach of a normal person. The tone is the same. It isn't encouraging to me (or some others who think like me), it's like a distant dream, WHEN you are able to "let go" or what ever. The truth is that it is possible now, with or without letting go of the world, the belief systems aren't important, you can gain access with or without any, if you believe you are ready, you are. If you believe you get messages, you will. Ofc it is hard to see since the "ego" or what ever does it's tricks all the time and the biggest trick is to bind people in some belief system so tight that they see nothing outside of it. We still live here, amongst each other and if we aren't able to accept that, there is nothing to do to make this world better... The biggest growth is in being able to accept all sorts of people and their beliefs, not to strip people bare of beliefs and force your own on them. To accept that you are part of the human population as it is, even tho you might be "more evolved" in some levels and with your thinking and understand and all of the others aren't, and STILL work for ALL of it... 

I don't know, maybe I have hit my head somewhere, or am totally possessed with the "forces of darkness" and get my paycheck from "illuminati" without knowing it... But something is wrong in this picture for me.  Not the idea of "galactic beings" or some of the stuff said necessarily, but the way some of these messages are put out there... "you have no hope unless you are ready to give up living your life and feeling your feelings for the "vision". Makes me think of dictators, no offense to the writer, who probably is a wonderful, thoughtful person engaged with an idea of the perfect future world with no pain (or, if considering me, no joy either). But then again... It was a phase for me too, to wish for that, before I realized that my happiness has very little to do with it. It was a needed phase tho, to get closer to a life where I actually feel that my spirit is more aligned with how I live.

PS. Never put a pagan to read stuff that is detached from earth. Hmm.. do I sound like living in an "illusion"? Maybe so... Yes, I do STILL know that there are things in this world that I rather would not have, but while I am here, I might as well work to make some of the things better... And enjoy the ride as long as it lasts. There sure will be bad days (last month proving that), but the world doesn't end on those, the sun tends to rise sooner or later...

Oh and, as a finn... sometimes it bothers me when all is so love, love, love in "spiritual" discussion groups. "I love you" is just another way to say "You are wonderful and I agree with you." (or "You are annoying and I want to end the discussion about this topic", when they don't know me so well. :D I am pretty fond of questioning, altho I don't necessary think people are "wrong".) For me, coming from a country, where the words - at least with the background where I have came from - come only from the true meaning of "you are part of my life and my heart", it feels a bit too light to say "I love you" to someone that I have known for 5 minutes... I find it disturbing, downgrading the whole concept of love. You don't have to love people to wish absolutely best for them and to help them achieve it, to help them find their full potential... You probably do love them, if getting to know them, but you know... Blessed be. :)

AND one more thing: What the hell is this "Have no fear, be not alarmed, do not worry, but you are doomed" thing going on in all the messages of "hope" these days? Is it that we are supposed to get SO alarmed that we get caught into this shit? Which ofc partly IS good  stuff too and part of it really is total crap, ready to be composted... Yeah, maybe we are doomed, but that is not an excuse to stop dreaming big. :) And there is no limit for the unawekened potential INSIDE of every one of you. :)
